Great Lives Workbook

Reflection: Facing What Intimidates You

Name the challenge in front of you and separate its size from the resources you can bring to it.

What challenge feels larger when you face it alone or imagine its worst outcome?Which past difficulty reminds you that you have handled more than you once thought possible? How do you distinguish courage from acting without thought or preparation?Where might you be trying to use someone else's approach instead of your own strengths? What would help you focus on the values behind your response rather than on public approval? What small, concrete step can you take toward the challenge you named?
